A Little About Myself

I was born and raised in Seymour, Indiana. I developed a love for writing before I could read. I used to have my mother sit at our computer and type the stories that I would verbally create to simply record what I was continuously writing in my head. From there, I became the best reader and writer in my classes through elementary school. A true accomplishment, right?

At the age of 10, I picked up a guitar for the first time and found my second love. Ever since, music has been a huge part of my life. Currently, I play in a Christian pop/rock band called The Lasting Hope. Playing music has taken me from New York, to Florida, to South Dakota and pretty much everywhere in between.

Through playing music around the Midwest, I developed my third love, which is traveling. I love going to unfamiliar places and trying to find the best spot to eat or most unique attraction to experience. The travel aspect of playing music, while sometimes tedious, has become one I enjoy.

In short: Lover of Food, Music Aficionado, Content Creator, Photographer & Traveler.

In college, I majored in communication with emphases in public relations and electronic media. I fell in love with PR for the writing and creative aspects and became a manager for our student-run and nationally recognized firm after my first semester in the class.

As a recent graduate from the University of Indianapolis, I am now trying to balance all of my loves through doing freelance work while traveling and playing music.
